First of all, the writer wants to welcome anybody who visits Rendang Ibun’s blog. This is not a blog about food. Eventhough the writer’s major interest is and the name of the blog is derived from the writer’s mother’s signature dishes. This is a blog about the writer’s experience to live overseas for the first time in her life. The new country is not very far from her own. There is no difference in terms of climate, and not a big difference with the food, but huge difference in efficiency and productivity. The motherland is Indonesia, the new country is Singapore.
